Holiday Announcement!

Further to current events, I have decided to put on my depression hat and spend the whole holiday enjoying my bad mood.

So, to the family members who will either be joining me or meeting me in alex: Sorry for the bad mood and the crossed face, but I kinda like it that way and I plan to keep it... I am activating my "Depressed Bit$#" Mode.

Happy Holidays All

if you are planning to visit Alex then I'd recommend doing so AFTER the holidays . it becomes messy during holidays in here ,but after that it's Alex charm in winter :D

Insomniac,

Happy holidays to you too.
Yes, I am the anon who commented before as well; I'll find a nickname soon.

I am sure the change will do you good despite the depressed hat and the activated bits# mode!

I am also sure that the Alex charm will definitely reach you if you find a spot that is untouched by the eid "invaders"!

Just read your post about your eid family tradition and I really like it! It adds a great spirit to the eid; family and all despite how much you maybe thinking against it.

It sounds like its a tradition that I'd hear my mom talking about and doing with her OWN parents, aunts, and uncles. You should be grateful that your family is keeping their ties close; its relatively rare these days.

Despite everything, I hope you have a wonderful time in Alex, and try to get some good laughs out of the family gatherings :)

hey anon, i was just keeping track... would love having a nick for you soon isA.

well, regarding alex and the tradition, it is exhausting when ur having one hell of a cold, plus and infant and a child who have cold as well..... and i won't even mention that we have to eat at every house some kinda meet this time.... either dany or regular, i am not a fan of boiled meet!

i will try to hang with the fun group in my family though, but i think they need to be warned of my bit$#ness... well, they are kinda used to it i suppose....

it is sad i am not expecting things to feel better in the holiday, especially that most of my family does not know about my screwed up marriage/divorce, and they keep asking all sorts of questions and they keep getting all sort of lies for answers :/ let alone the amazing msgs i keep getting from him... u should see the post after this one...

u can join, come to alex... u will find overloaded cars chasing one another while on their cell phones confirming who is where <--- US :)

don't you think forcing a certain mood on one's self has something unreal about it? I mean, when one wears a hat on, it's like he's covering something (a feeling) in a sense, if that makes any sense at all.

insomniac said...

mohammad, i was not forcing the mood, i was sinking in it anyways; therefore, i thought i'd wear its hat as well!

the hat meant i was letting it show, not forcing it... was that clear?

thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read older posts... feel free to leave a comment wherever

1st thanks for the encouragement, and I guess I'll be reading most of your blog.. depressing blogs are always a treat to read.
2nd, I know the metaphor about the hat, but for me it doesn't only imply showing the mood one in, also that your will to be in it, or at least that one has no desire to resist it or change it, but then again that's my understanding of it, and since u're the writer then I have to take yours for it.
needless to say, I like your blog.

wow, my blog is depressing :) cool! i guess, according to you at least :))

but i have to say, if it wasn't for zoroofy, my blog wouldn't be that depressing :)))

well, regarding ur point, i guess both of us are right... i did not want to resist or change the mood... still not forcing it, if anything i normally wouldn't want it!!

thanks... and btw, i read into ur blog and it seems i will be a regular visitor there

that's cheeful! you're always welcome there. I would've asked u about el zoroof, but it's way too personal a question to ask

insomniac said...

lol, zoroofy are all over the blog man!!!

all it takes is reading the labelings of my posts to figure them out.... hehe

yes he was..
and it's not living up to anybody's expectations, cuz u can't do that with people you don't respect and your ideal in life is not to be like them, it's just to show them you don't need them anymore. I loved my uncle very much, but it a had a revelation that I'll end up like him or any of the family, I think I'd kill myself right now. love to me is different than respect, if you know what I mean.

yeah I realized that after reading some of the posts last night.. well, when I landed on your blog and I read only that post that I commented on, because the others were too long and I had an exam in 3 hours.. but I think I'll be spending some time with it now that my next exam is kinda easy.

insomniac said...

i am sorry i provide long reading material.... ana raghaya in real life i guess... i hope u don't find them boring...

hope u did well on that exam... and seriouosly man, go study... u don't want my crappy words blocking ur thinking when ur doing ur exam!!

i read it somewhere i guess, but i am too lazy to go re-check... what do u study???

now bezemmetek why would I be spending an hour and a half reading your very long posts if I don't like your ra3'y?
and strangely enough I did well in my exam! it gave me a week of depression before it, but I did well in the exam and I still don't know how till now!
